David, the drummer and one of the founding members of The Hooters (that Internationally-acclaimed band that started in the Delaware Valley and will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year) organized his In The Pocket band in 2010 to showcase Philadelphia’s rich musical heritage with an all-star cast of Philly musicians. Starting as a six-piece jam at a small bar in Conshohocken, the group has grown into a 20+piece band performing in regional theaters and other venues in live celebrations of Philly’s esteemed musical past.
